Ferrari Downshifting sound?
When pretty much any ferrari downshifts, especially the supercars like the testarossa and the enzo, i have noticed that there is kind of an airy, chunky sound. Do you know why this happens and what causes it?

Ferrari high maintenance?
I wanted to eventually purchase a ferrari F355 but i am concerned about the reliability. I have heard that the maintenance can be costly and it seems that many parts that would normally last for a while seem to wear out faster in a ferrari belts, clutches, fluids, etc . Is that because typically the owners of ferrari's typically do not drive the cars that much low mileage per year or when they do run them the rev the engine hard and spend most of the time in " race mode" or is it just a poor quality vehicle??I would hate to be sitting on the side of the road next to a 100k car with the hood up and waiting for a tow...very embarrassing.It is not a question of one ability to afford the car but is it going to be a problem when driving the car. Is it going to start? Is it going to run when needed? Those who state " if you cant afford the repairs then you cant afford the car" do not answer because your answer is not related to the question.again, I am looking for reliablity due to abuse or low quality. Those who's answer include the ability to afford the car and its upkeep will be disregarded. I am not asking if the car is expensive to own and operate because I already know that from the price tag. I am asking if occasionally driven and taken care of will it run properly and not leave me on the side of the road. Thank you to those who read the question carefully and answer properly.
