Question: What are the things that beep and light when cop cars are near?

I cant think of what they are called .. There just little box shaped, the one i saw had green yellow and red lights and beeped when a cop was near.. Any help? Just cant think of the name.

I believe you're referring to a Radar Detector.

Radar detector. and @missmoney07, they are illegal (at least where I am). They impounded an 07 GT Mustang and the owner was made to pay to have it removed, so in the end, it can just wind up being more of a headache than anything else

A Radar Detector and yes as the answerer before me pointed out they are illegal in most Canadian Provinces. I can't answer for the US States though, but I am sure some of the states are illegal too.
